Handsome Xavier Needs A Family SOON!

This is Xavier. Isn't he so handsome?

This picture was taken when he was around 9 years old. Xavier is now 13 years old, and turning 14 in April. He needs a family before that time!

Xavier is deaf and mute. But that is only a diagnosis...those words do not define him! Here is what his caregivers had to say in a very recent update:

Though X cannot hear and speak, he is clever, skillful with his hands, open-minded, has creative ideas and can imitate what he sees vividly. Because he is outgoing and optimistic he gets along well with other children, rests at home at ordinary times, takes an initiative to help the caretakers do something he can after finishing his homework, takes good care of younger children and protects the girls, and is the “little gentleman” here. He is so cute that it is difficult for the caretakers not to love him.

Now he is in the third grade in Zhengzhou City Blind and Deaf-mute School. Because the welfare institute is far away from the school, he lives in the school and only comes back to the institute on weekends. He behaves well in school, not only works hard, but also ready to help others. As the oldest child in class, he often helps the students and teachers clean and decorate the classroom. The classmates take him as a bog brother and like to study and play with him. The teachers often praise him and consider him as a good helper. He always finishes everything in a perfect way. He is organized and can help the teachers organize the students when there is any activity in class. He has good self-care ability, and can tidy his own room and wash clothes whether in school or the institute.
