Leia is 4 years old, and has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy.Her head CT in 2010 came back as normal. However, a second opinion was sought (not sure why) at a different hospital. Another doctor looked at the same CT and said it was abnormal. Obviously, further studies will need to be done. Leia is described as shy, obediant and quiet, often sharing smiles with her nannies, who love her very much. She is especially attached to her main ayi, and I'm sure the feeling is mutual:)
Leia can walk, run and jump like other children. She speaks well and can sing many children's songs. Leia loves it when her ayi takes her outside, and plays happily the whole time.
Just look at that face! She seems to be saying "Look at me, Mommy & Daddy! I'm right here, waiting for you!". Who is the lucky family that will be putting a smile on Leia's face?
